Weksil is at the earliest stage — assembling the founding team to build blockchain promissory note infrastructure for a $12 trillion market. We're looking for co-founders, not employees.
These aren't job postings. They're co-founder opportunities with meaningful equity, a founder-level role in the company, and the chance to build critical financial infrastructure from scratch.
Blockchain protocol architect with experience in real-world asset tokenization. You've shipped smart contracts to production. Ideally you've worked at or deeply studied Figure Technologies, Centrifuge, Ondo Finance, Goldfinch, or Paxos.
What you'd build: Custom ERC-721 extension for mortgage notes, oracle integration for title/valuation verification, atomic swap settlement contracts, on-chain KYC/AML compliance layer.
What you bring: Solidity/Rust expertise. Smart contract security experience. An understanding of how on-chain systems interact with real-world legal instruments. The patience to build infrastructure, not a DeFi yield farm.
15+ years in institutional mortgage note trading. You know the hedge funds that buy non-performing note pools, the servicers that manage them, and the originators that sell them. You've seen the paper assignment chain fail firsthand.
What you'd build: Pilot partner relationships with institutional note buyers, servicer integration partnerships, exchange and marketplace connectivity, the commercial architecture of the protocol.
What you bring: A network of institutional note buyers, private lenders, and servicers. Credibility that opens doors. Deep understanding of due diligence pain points, settlement workflows, and what institutional buyers actually need to adopt new infrastructure.
Once funded, Weksil will build a team of 12–18 across protocol engineering, legal, compliance, and business development.
Real estate + securities + blockchain. UCC Article 12 expertise. Multi-state lending law. The person who gets us the legal opinions that make institutional adoption possible.
CFPB, state lending regulations, AML/KYC. Mortgage industry compliance background. Builds the compliance infrastructure that makes institutional participants comfortable.
Solidity/Rust developers. Smart contract security. Oracle integration. Title and valuation API integration with First American, CoreLogic, Black Knight.
We're building an advisory board with expertise in mortgage note fund management, UCC Article 12 law, mortgage servicing operations, and blockchain protocol design.
Weksil is pre-seed. That means maximum equity, maximum impact, and maximum risk. Here's what you'd be walking into:
The legal window just opened. UCC Article 12 in 25+ states including New York. This framework didn't exist two years ago. The first credible protocol to market has a structural advantage in building the network of notes, oracles, and servicers that becomes the moat.
The founder has domain expertise. This isn't a crypto project searching for a use case. It's a real estate professional who spent 26 years inside the system that needs replacing, building the protocol to replace it. You won't need to explain what an assignment chain is or why MERS doesn't work.
The market is enormous and underserved. $12 trillion in outstanding mortgage debt. $33.2B in quarterly private lending origination, growing 10% year-over-year. Figure Technologies has raised $500M+ validating the market — and they're a potential customer, not just a competitor.
